Victoria Indexes has a record that Edward died in 1964 in Dandenong, Victoria aged 68. This conflicts with the newspaper report below which indicates that he died in 1943. Dora died about 1984 aged 88 in Phillip Island, Victoria.

Following Dora's death, the following Newspaper Article appeared (unknown paper, from about 1984)

A woman who, with her husband, fled New Guinea in the face of advancing Japanese during the Second World War, died in her home at Cowes last week.
