The Hambledon was a Hunt Class Minesweeper. George served on this ship between
January 1919 - June 1919. During this time the ship was sweeping the coast from Aberdeen, in the north of
Scotland, to as far south as Portsmouth. The ship was sold for scrapping in 1922.
